1. The Promoter

The Promoter of all competitions is TLR Comps Ltd ("the Promoter", "we", "us", "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By entering any competition hosted on tlrcomps.co.uk ("Competition"), entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any competition-specific rules displayed on the website.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

3.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, or anyone professionally associated with the Competitions are not eligible to enter.

3.3 By entering a Competition, entrants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.

4. Free Entry Route

4.1 A free entry route is available for all Competitions and is described in full on the Free Entry page on the Website.

4.2 Free entries must be submitted by post in accordance with the instructions set out on the Free Entry page, including the required format, address, and closing date.

4.3 Free entries are treated equally to paid entries and are entered into the same draw. No paid entry is given an advantage over a free entry.

4.4 Incomplete, illegible, or late free entries will not be accepted.

5. Skill-Based Competition

5.1 All Competitions operated by the Promoter are skill-based prize competitions, not lotteries.

5.2 To enter a Competition, entrants must correctly answer the qualifying question displayed on the Competition page.

5.3 Entries submitted with an incorrect answer are void, will not be entered into the draw, and may not be refunded.

6. Tickets & Entry Limits

6.1 Each Competition has:

  • A maximum number of tickets available, and
  • A maximum number of entries per person,

both of which are stated clearly on the Competition page.

6.2 Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

7. Promotion Period & Closing

7.1 Each Competition runs for a defined Promotion Period, which begins when the Competition is published on the Website and ends at the stated closing date and time shown on the Competition page.

7.2 All closing dates and times are stated in UK time (GMT or BST, as applicable).

7.3 A Competition will close when either:

  • All available tickets have been sold; or
  • The stated closing date and time is reached.

8. Required Level of Ticket Sales

8.1 Some Competitions may require a minimum level of ticket sales in order for the advertised prize to be awarded.

8.2 Where applicable, the required level of ticket sales will be clearly stated on the Competition page.

9. Extensions & Early Closure

9.1 If a Competition does not reach the required level of ticket sales, the Promoter reserves the right to:

  • Extend the Promotion Period by up to 10 days, up to a maximum of three extensions; or
  • Close the Competition and apply the prize fallback provisions set out below.

9.2 The Promoter also reserves the right to close a Competition early and conduct an early draw. In such cases, the Winner will be drawn from all eligible entries received prior to the early closure announcement.

10. Prize & Cash Alternative

10.1 The prize for each Competition is stated on the Competition page.

10.2 Where a Competition offers a physical prize (including vehicles), such prizes are subject to availability and sufficient ticket sales.

10.3 If a Competition does not reach the required level of ticket sales, the Promoter reserves the right to award a cash prize alternative.

10.4 Where a cash alternative is applied, the cash prize will be calculated as follows:

Total ticket sales received during the Promotion Period, minus:

  • A fixed 30% administrative fee, which covers platform costs, payment processing, staffing, and operational expenses; and
  • Advertising costs incurred by the Promoter specifically in relation to that Competition.

10.5 Advertising costs deducted will not exceed the amount actually spent on promoting that Competition and may be documented on reasonable request.

10.6 Cash alternatives may be lower than the stated retail value of the original prize.

11. Winner Selection

11.1 All valid entries will be entered into a random draw.

11.2 Winners will be selected using a random number generator from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

11.3 Draws will be conducted live on YouTube or recorded for transparency within 7-10 days of the Competition closing.

12. Winner Notification & Redraw

12.1 Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided at entry.

12.2 Winners must respond within 14 days of notification.

12.3 If a Winner does not respond within this timeframe, fails verification, or is otherwise deemed ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner.

13. Verification

13.1 The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, identity, and address from any Winner prior to prize fulfilment.

13.2 Failure to provide satisfactory proof within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification.

14. Refunds, Cancellations & Void Entries

14.1 Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law.

14.2 In the event that a Competition is cancelled or voided, all paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method.

15. Publicity

15.1 The Promoter may publish limited Winner information (first name, surname initial, and county) for transparency.

15.2 Winners may object to publication; however, the Promoter may still be required to provide Winner information to regulatory bodies (such as the ASA) upon request.

16. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy, available on the Website.

17. Limitation of Liability

17.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in a Competition or acceptance of a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

18. Governing Law

18.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
